7d1058 LOT OF 7 PAULETTE GODDARD 8X10 STILLS 1940s great portraits of the beautiful star! (learn about stills) Description of Lot: a lot of 7 8x10 stills from Paulette Goddard movies. Paulette Goddard was an actress from the 1930s to the 1970s (she had 14 bit parts between 1929 and 1935, but she really started in movies with "Modern Times" in 1936). Some of her movies include: Modern Times, The Great Dictator, The Women, So Proudly We Hail (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and The Cat and the Canary. She was discovered by Charlie Chaplin, whom she was married to for 6 years. Goddard passed away in 1990 at the age of 79. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1940s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of the front and back of all of them. Overall bulk lot condition description: very good. Measurements: 8" x 10"

Note that even if you are planning on waiting to bid until nearer to the auctions' close, you should absolutely register RIGHT NOW rather than waiting till the end of the auctions (go HERE for why).
Why $1/No Reserve Auctions?
We believe in letting bidders set the prices of our items, so we do not use reserves, and we have ridiculously low $1 opening bids (don't be fooled, as almost all items will sell for far more)! If an item is currently far below its "regular" price, then ... (read more)
... it is a good buy for now, and you should bid! Note too that we NEVER end any auctions "early" (in order to sell the item to someone who makes us an offer for that item), so please don't ask! The high bidder at the end of the auction for each item gets that item, which is the most fair way to auction posters. WE REGULARLY HEAR FROM OUR CUSTOMERS THAT THEY "WOULD HAVE BID ON AN ITEM IF THEY COULD HAVE KNOWN IT WOULD SELL SO LOW"! Of course, they forgot to bid on the item, or "thought" they could not get it. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! Bid whatever you are willing to pay, no matter how low, and you have nothing to lose but a little bit of your time, and you may get some very pleasant surprises!
Return Policy
Please know that no auction company could stay in business if they allowed buyers to return items "for any reason"! HOWEVER, if any of OUR buyers can show that we misrepresented an item's originality or condition, then all you need to do is .... (read more)

We request that you then return it within one week of your receipt of it (securely wrapped & insured) for a full refund of the purchase price, no questions asked! We get less than one in 3,000 items returned for condition, and far fewer than that for a problem with originality! But please realize that we can't have buyers who return an item simply because they "changed their mind". We want all buyers to be comfortable buying through the mail, so we take back any item for any valid reason EXCEPT "changing your mind"! We hope you never have to use our return policy (and the vast majority of our 60,000+ past buyers never have!), but if you find we made a mistake and you do need to return something, please contact Bruce, the owner who will be happy to assist you.
SPECIAL RETURN POLICY FOR AUTOGRAPHED ITEMS:
KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT "AUTOGRAPH EXPERTS"! We strongly suggest that all bidders do whatever research they want to do about any autographed items we auction BEFORE placing bids (such as comparing the signatures to other known signatures found on the Internet). But we also know how hard it is to be certain of an autograph's authenticity when you are not seeing the item in person. So, to make certain that we only have satisfied buyers, we will give anyone who purchases any signed item a 30 day return privilege (from the date the auction closes) on any of these autographed items, and of course, that gives every buyer plenty of time to be 100% certain that they have purchased a genuine autograph!
So most important of all, we don't want any buyers returning an item because they "changed their minds", and it is vital that any returned items must be returned safely (ideally in the same packing) and received in the exact same condition it was sent, and the return offer requires a valid reason, proof that we mis-described the item in terms of condition or year of origin.
Disclaimer
Please note that in the unlikely event of a site outage or some other unforeseen circ*mstance, we reserve the right to nullify the auction results in THIS auction, OR, far more likely, EXTEND the auctions by 24 or 48 hours, so that all bidders have a chance to bid, even in the case of an extended outage. We do not anticipate needing to extend ANY auctions at all, but there may be some kind of unforeseen difficulties, and we have to be fair to both our consignors and our bidders.
